tls-certificates: Changelog¶
1.10.1 - 25 August 2026¶
Fix Mode.APP_AND_UNIT requirers raising RelationDataAccessError on every non-leader unit. The library read the requirer’s own application databag regardless of leadership, so once the leader had written its application certificate request, no other unit could complete a hook – taking the unit scope down with the application one. Non-leaders now load the unit scope only, which is all they can act on: they can reach neither the application private key nor the application certificate secrets.
1.10.0 - 13 July 2026¶
Allow providers to advertise their certificate server’s capabilities (ProviderCapabilities) in relation data, and let requirers read them via get_provider_capabilities() or by passing a callable certificate_requests that shapes requests from the advertised capabilities. Additive and backwards compatible.
1.9.0 - 6 July 2026¶
Store the Mode.APP private key under a new secret label and automatically migrate keys created by older versions (including pre-existing unit-owned keys) to an app-owned secret. The key material is preserved, so certificates are not regenerated on upgrade.
1.8.3 - 5 June 2026¶
Add a safety net to ensure expiring certificates are renewed even if the charm fails to trigger the renewal process.

Update the library to cache the private_key.

1.7.0 - 18 February 2025¶

1.6.1 - 05 February 2025¶
